Interactive Game Streaming and Monetization

Interactive Game Streaming and Monetization utilizes already existing streaming platforms such as Twitch, Youtube, Facebook, Discord, etc, or newer platforms, that allow for the streaming of a live game.

Viewers are passive participants in an active game via streaming or live in-game viewing. Players are active participants of an active game that plays in the live game.

Viewers can only view a live game via streaming using a streaming platform or using built-in live streaming within the game. Viewers do not participate in a live game like a player. They can add, subtract or modify the live game. This addition, subtraction, and modification directly affect the experience of the players in the live game. Viewers' interactions are constrained by the streaming platform or the built-in systems for the live game or host. For example, viewers can give players in the live game, ammo, weapons, and shield bonuses, add obstacles, remove obstacles, and/or change any attribute of the players in the live game or the world. The constraints of these addition, subtraction, or modifications are set by the streaming platform or the built-in streaming system of the game or host. Viewers through this interaction can directly or indirectly affect the tide of a Player vs Player matches or Player vs Environment interactions. Viewers are charged an interaction fee via monetization for each interaction with the game. Interactions have varying costs and are set by the streaming platform or the built-in streaming system in the game or host. Viewers have the ability to track specific players via streaming to further empower their interactions with the game. Free camera (the ability to free view the live game from any angle) can be used as an alternative method for tracking the live game and maybe limited by the streaming platform.

Interactive Game Streaming and Monetization is a system that allows viewers to interact with a live game using pre-determine interactions at a cost set by the host of the live game. These interactions directly and indirectly affect the flow of the game.
